Whitney Houston‘s hologram will begin touring the legend’s discography for audiences this month.

Presented by BASE Holograms in partnership with the Whitney Houston Estate, the new hologram tour launches exactly two weeks after the eight-year anniversary of her death. The first leg kicks off in the UK on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at Sheffield Hall followed by dates in France, the Czech Republic, Sweden and more European engagements. Dates for North America will come in “Fall 2020,” according to the website, while Mexico is simply listed as “2020.”

“An Evening With Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour” is being described by promoters as “the most awe-inspiring and immersive live theatrical concert experience ever.” The event will aim to “celebrate the incredible music and everlasting legacy of Whitney Houston, with her voice that captured the world and hits that defined a generation!”

Dancer, director and choreographer Fatima Robinson is being tasked with bringing the show to life. In a recent behind-the-scenes video on the making of the hologram tour, Robinson explains why she signed onto the project:

“I want to do the Whitney hologram show because I loved her as a live performer,” Robinson explains. “I’ve worked with her on the ‘Every Woman’ music video. And [I want] to get a feeling again of being in her presence. Her music touched every generation. So we’re going to take a little bit of movie magic and add it into our live performance. Married together, it’s going to be incredible.”

The show will be supported with a full live band, dancers as well as back up singers. Houston‘s hologram is confirmed to perform digitally remastered versions of original live vocal performances.

Houston‘s former stylist Timothy Snell will “modernize” the icon’s looks, while stage producer LeRoy Bennett (Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Prince) is handling the creative direction.
