Megan Thee Stallion graces the cover of Variety’s ‘Power of Young Hollywood’ this week where she reveals details on her debut album as well a possible new song addressing the Black Lives Matter movement.

Following her high-profile tracks with Nicki Minaj (“Hot Girl Summer”) and Beyoncé (“Savage” Remix), Thee Stallion is looking to complete her holy trinity of female rap collaborations with Cardi B‘s comeback track ‘WAP.’  The rising rapper has plans for a debut studio album shortly after the buzzy collaboration, Variety reveals, with a tentative release date for the end of the summer “if things go according to plan.”

Thee Stallion has inhabited different personas for past projects, but for her debut album, the rapper promises Variety her character will be “the ring leader of them all, the boss.” She also described this upcoming character to Zach Sang as “the core person” who embodies her real-life personality.

While Thee Stallion couldn’t address many specifics on her new music to Variety, the rapper promises she will put out a new song where she addresses the Black Lives Matter movement:

“I feel like everything that’s going on right now, if it hasn’t moved you to speak out or try to make some type of difference, then something might be slightly wrong with you,” she told Variety. “Even though I haven’t already come out with a song with that messaging, I definitely plan on it.”

Thee Stallion also went on the record with Zach Sang in May saying she wants to continue collaborating with fellow female artists:

“On my album I was just thinking I should fill it up with a lot of girls. I’ve had my two dream collabs – let’s get all the ladies on one album! So that’s the goal I’m working toward now.”
