Travis Scott‘s virtual Fornite concert, ‘Astronomical,’ was a record-setting event for the game, and it’s not even over yet.
Scott‘s virtual concert, which included performances of “SICKO MODE,” “Goosebumps” and other hits, delivered on the spectacle as gamers were hit with out-of-this world visuals and interactive, shifting landscapes. Fortnite is now reporting that a massive 12.3 MILLION players were concurrently watching the show, a new all-time record.

Marshmello‘s virtual concert from February, 2019 held the previous record with 10.7 MILLION attendees. The event was a massive success for his single, “Happier,” which shot up the Billboard Hot 100 the following week from #8 to #2.
Scott took full advantage of the platform by premiering his new Kid Cudi collaboration, “THE SCOTTS,” during the concert. He’s set to return for more performance in the game throughout the weekend:
- Friday, April 24th at 10 am EDT
- Saturday, April 25th at 11 am EDT
- Saturday, April 25th at 6 pm EDT
