Fans have been waiting so long for a Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj collaboration that they’ve already made dozens of mashups for themselves on YouTube.
Following weeks of speculation online, Doja Cat officially announced a remix of “Say So” featuring the queen Nicki Minaj coming this Friday, May 1st. Fans have been itching for a collaboration between the two ever since Minaj was rumored to be on the ‘Hot Pink’ track, “Like That,’ when Cat blurred out the featured artist’s name in November 2019.
Fans got their hopes up once again for a Minaj feature after Cat teased a collaboration with “the best” artist she’s ever been offered last week. It’s safe to assume that Cat was talking about the “Say So” remix, but considering her rise to stardom over the past couple of months, it’s possible there are other collaborations in the mix.

“Say So” is Cat‘s most successful single to date, peaking at #5 on the Hot 100 and boasting over 340 MILLION Spotify streams. With Minaj‘s co-sign on the track, the collaboration might just be enough to earn both artists their first #1 on the Hot 100.
