Dua Lipa and The Strokes are facing off for the #1 spot on the UK albums chart this week in another tight race.

Official Charts reports that ‘Future Nostalgia’ is outpacing ‘The New Abnormal’ by less than 250 chart sales, meaning it’s still anyone’s game for #1. Lipa‘s ‘Nostalgia’ is currently the most-streamed album of the week in the UK.

‘Nostalgia” debuted on the UK chart at #2 behind 5 Seconds of Summer‘s ‘CALM’ with 34,390. The project rose to #1 the following week, earning Lipa her first chart-topping album in the UK. In the US, ‘Nostalgia’ became Lipa‘s highest-charting career album and first Top 10 on the Billboard 200 at #4.

Lipa is currently enjoying a stellar run in the UK Official Charts Top 100 with three songs in the Top 10: “Physical” (#4), “Don’t Start Now” (#5) and “Break My Heart” (#7). She’s the first British female artist to achieve this since Ruby Murray in March 1955. Ariana Grande was the most recent artist all around to score three concurrent Top 10 hits in February 2019 with “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” (#1), “7 rings” (#2) and “needy” (#8).

Official Charts reports that The Strokes‘ ‘The New Abnormal’ has sold the most physical sales and downloads so far this week. The project will mark the group’s sixth consecutive Top 10 album.
