Miley Cyrus could possibly release a full-length album based on her new Instagram Live show, “Bright Minded” according to her interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.
Created in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, Cyrus‘s new show, “Bright Minded” sees the singer going live on Instagram with a variety of different celebrities every day in an effort to “stay lit during dark times.” Recent episodes have featured Demi Lovato, Ricky Thompson, Ellen Degeneres, Emily Osment, Amy Schumer and more.
Cyrus has already released a theme song for the show of the same name on YouTube. When asked if “Bright Minded” could spawn full-length music project, Cyrus told Lowe she’s already “kind of” started it:
“I’m kind of starting to do that,” Cyrus said. “With having so much time, I’ve really started to write music, thinking of what would it actually be like to do this the way that I used to do Hannah Montana.”
Cyrus added that she wrote a song called “I’ve Already Decided That I’m Going To Be Bright Minded” the other night:
“I’ve been making ‘Bright Minded’ beats, and it’s been helping me a lot. I wrote a song last night called ‘I’ve Already Decided That I’m Going To Be Bright Minded,’ because I’ve already made my mind up about that.”
Fans have been patiently awaiting a new project from Cyrus ever since her 2019 EP, ‘SHE IS COMING’ and the subsequent breakup track, “Slide Away.” The singer teased her upcoming era all the way back on New Year’s Day with a retrospective career video, so it’s a bit of a surprise that we’ve yet to see anything since.
