Don’t let the intentionally terrible mashups of Doja Cat‘s “Say So” distract you from the ones that actually slap.
The new single from the rising singer/rapper is currently having a major moment online following the release of its official music video on February 27th. Fans are discovering that the groovy track pairs surprisingly well with a number of contemporary hits after a mashup of “Say So” and Ariana Grande‘s “goodnight n go” went viral on Twitter.
The video has also helped spawn a Stan Twitter meme in which users create purposefully awful mashups with a sincere caption that tricks users into clicking in. Check out a few examples below:

Doja Cat‘s “Say So” recently reached a new peak of #2 on US Spotify, entered the Top 15 on the US iTunes Song Chart and amassed over 1 MILLION likes for the official music video in under a week. Similar to the viral TikTok dance movement, this new mashup trend is proving that “Say So” has enough organic public interest to become a major hit – and potentially her first #1 on the Hot 100.
